Wood Farm Dog Club
Bob has been going to the club for nearly four years now. For the first half of this year he went to obedience training with Anne and it is a testament to him that we could switch so readily between handlers as some of the dogs at class could not cope with that.
Bob has continued his agility training with Anne on Tuesdays (finally some pictures). Since his operation he spends less time sniffing the floor and more time actually jumping.
Agility
(The barn where the agility is held is quite dark so most of the agility photos are subject to a little blurring.)
Bob in action: You can tell he is happy because he gives a little woof as his makes each jump.

Obedience
(At least that is how the session is referred to.)

Other exercises:
Bob: Showing that the 'obedience' in obedience training shouldn't ever be taken as granted.
Ben:
Cleo:
Foley:
Hector: Was with us for just one session and may join us again. He just nicely filled the size gap between Bob and Little Taffy.
Big Taffy: and Eric of course.
Little Taffy: Whoever said that you cannot train a little dog had never met little Taffy (only designated 'little' to distinguish him from 'big' Taffy). Unfortunately for Taffy when the grass gets long the going gets tough.
Tyler:
Zak:
Christmas Party:
Fancy Dress Competition: It is a shame that they could not all win - but we were very happy that Bob did. (Not only that, but with a judge that hadn't met him before!)
Party games: It is almost impossible to believe that with this quantity of dogs in close proximity, ranging in size between a Yorkie and an Anatolian that there were no incidents. (Unless you count Julie's huskie taking a toilet break in the middle of the floor.) Testimony to the fact that socialising part of the training is paying dividends.
Bob failed dismally in the game where you had to call your dog to you, and he should have run between two rows of sausages. He ate a complete row of sausages on his way. I'm not so sure that he saw it as a failure.
Toot Hill Show:
Yvonne showing Loki and Reefer while Cathy (Reefer's owner) tries not to distract them (I guess).
And finally puppies.
No one can resist a puppy picture so here are a few from my colleagues at work.
Sam. Ken's dog Cassie was expected to have six puppies but actually just had one. With all of mum's attention he now has plenty of puppy fat but these pictures show him when he was tiny.
Lilly and Sky. Jenny was hoping to get a puppy from Cassie's litter. At the time Jenny said it was probably a good thing and she would now wait until next year, after her daughter had got married, before getting a dog. Meet Lilly and Sky.
